Weekly Wishes
If there is a present fairy out there that has been keeping a low profile because they didn't know what to get me, it's fine! You can come out of hiding now, I've done all of the hard work! All I want is this...

Put simply it is magnificent... and it is on sale. Oh River Island, how you please me!

Weekly Wishes
Weekly wishes time. What do I fancy this week?
Chat about the M&S Limited Collection is everywhere and after a quick look I was left wanting the majority of the stuff, most unexpected!
Without a doubt my favourite piece is this knitted mohair, bird print top. Even though it comes under the slightly cringe-worthy umbrella of 'quirky cool' (a possible reminder of a generational gap!), it will be a perfect throw on come the (slightly) colder months. Plus, at £29.50 a pop you can't really go wrong and let's face it, we can all rely on Marks and Sparks!
Now I just need to work on finding it out here in Dubai...

Weekly Wishes
Weekly wishes time! This week this pair of Oasis shorts caught my eye.
I have wanted a pair of statement shorts for a while and, paired with a nice tan and some killer heels, I think this pair with the scallop hem detail might be just the ticket!
I am defiantly a sucker for a good time piece and have been checking out Ice watches for ages. Hopefully I will be able to treat myself to the gorgeous Ice White with a purple face sooner rather than later!!
What's on your hit list this week?

Weekly Wishes
Those of you that know me will know that I have moved! I didn't just move house or country, but continent and I have found myself living in Dubai again which is a pretty exciting development!
Thanks to my small 'Relocation, Relocation' my life has been squashed into two cases and is now in chaos, however this has by no means dampened my ever present urge to internet window shop!
I am really into paper bag waist maxi skirts at the moment and although I love these New Look ones I think that River Island have released the best collection. My favourite one is this one with feather print detail (£35), perfect for an autumn in Dubai wouldn't you say?!
Perhaps it is because of the move, but I am also thinking about decorative bits and bobs. I have photo frames stocked full of my nearest and dearest but what I really want to lift my room's plain white walls with is a Charmaine Olivia painting. I am by no means calling for an original (I will be waiting a while for a cheque that can accommodate one) but I would love a couple of her silhouette prints to hang on my walls! My favourite two are the matching, and very fitting, Little Houses Silhouettes but I also adore this Boat Hat Silhouette.
Charmaine Olivia's work is stocked at etsy.com and in Urban Outfitters if you want to snap some up yourself. I wrote a feature on her for my university magazine back in May and fell a little bit in love, I think it was the tea drinking bit of her 'about me'. I will see if, some how, I can be a technical wizard and get a copy of my article up here.
What are you lusting for this week?

Words cannot describe how much I am lusting after the Mulberry Polly Push Lock in Midnight. In fitting with the timeless and classy style that has come to define Mulberry handbags, this newer model has the classic envelope flap but with a slightly updated push lock clasp. So far it's only been seen on Kate Middleton and Clémence Poésy but that wouldn't be bad company to keep! Anyone fancy shelling out £850 so I can sport this beauty on my arm? No, I didn't think so!
For now I'll just have to enjoy the photo,

Weekly Wishes
Just a short post this week because I have taken a break from the endless job hunt and I am currently staycationing with my gal pals in Cornwall. Being Cornwall my primary interest at the moment is:
However, I am also very much in 'holiday-mode', so with that in mind I have been on the hunt for perfect holiday shoes and I think I have found them in Kurt Geiger. The Miss KG Panda Wedges come in a host of colours and will be perfect for walking to Land's End *coughs* Plus, they are currently on sale, so there is literally nothing stopping me from buying them, hurrah!

Weekly Wishes
Just a quick and late one this week!
I am a huge fan of Fearne Cotton - both her style and general radio hosting abilities - so it's no great surprise that I'm quite excited about the make up range she has in the pipeline, it will be available in Boots from September.
As a bit of a nail varnish addict her collection of nail varnishes caught my eye, plus at just £5.50 they will be a total steal!
The darker colours in this Midnight Manicure collection will be utterly perfect come autumn and winter. I will be snapping these up for sure!

Do you think Fearne's make up range will be as huge a success as her Very clothing range?

Weekly Wishes
Happy Monday readers!
My weekly wishes are back and this week I have a few little desires up my sleeve. First things first, I would like a graphics wizard to turn this soon-to-be-iconic 'Becks and Harper' photo into a giant poster for my wall. Inappropriate? Perhaps, but that doesn't make me want it any less.
Next up is more of a follow on from a previous weekly wish, the dress I'll wear to my graduation. A couple of months or so ago you may remember I was pondering this exact predicament, well I managed to get to within just one week of the ceremony, still without a dress. However, at the very last minute the French Connection sale came though for me, as it always does, and I got the Navy Lark Rise Lace Dress (£79, down from £169). You may remember that I was also keen on the French Connection Anna Lace Dress, but when it came down to it the length of the Lark Rise, and more importantly the price, were far more appropriate for graduation.
And finally, the last thing I can think of that in a dream world would set my week of perfectly would be a Minx Manicure. Some of their designs are a little bit too mental, even for me. However I adore these three patterns, the Pink Cheetah, the Matte Gold and the Bridal Nail (yes, I know I am not a bride, but they are lace nails!!), and there is not a doubt in my mind that come this year's St Andrew's day I will be sporting these Stewart Tartan nails. They are just brilliant!

Weekly Wishes
Here I am again.
Usually I would scream "NO!" at the sight of a back pack and slowly shy away from it. However, as I am off on some merry travels in a couple of weeks I have been advised by many a party that a back pack is going to be the only sensible way forward for me. This got me thinking, surely I can have one without looking like an awkward exchange student circa 2003. Then I found this ASOS bad boy and it was snapped up quicker than you can say "Savvy traveller." At £28, I would say it was a pretty good buy!
The other thing I am lusting over this week is far less practical, the super sized coffee table book Kate Moss by Mario Testino. This book is on the book shelf of every fashionista worth their salt, however at £44.99 I am not quite sure I can justify it for the time being. Next month perhaps!
Happy shopping and let me know if there are any little beauts that catch your eye this week.

Weekly Wishes
Good day, this little set of wishes come early because I am meant to be revising, but I am actually doing ANYTHING I can to avoid it.
First things first, at the moment I am in love with Storm in a Teacup Vintage Jewellery, it is just gorgeous. The collection is very Urban Outfitters-esque, but the fact that each piece handmade makes it so much more unique and, subsequently, desirable. Trying to whittle my favourite piece down from all of them to just the one was nearly impossible but I have settled on the 'Got the Blues Vintage Necklace' (£14.50).
However the 'Amelie Necklace' (£13) in gold or silver and the super versitile 'Emma Multi-Way Tie' (17.50) are both pretty high up on my shopping list too.
Now for a far more unrealistic realm, I would like a London cab please. Not just any old black cab... one designed by Christopher Kane. How amazing is that! Kane was given a fleet of cabs to make over and he has designed them with his iconic galaxy print. If I see one when I am out and about in London Town, I will be hailing it for sure! If only for a photo opportunity and a wee trip around the corner.

Weekly Wishes
Dedicated and very much back! Here I am again with another edition of my Weekly Wishes. This week all I can think about is what I am going to don for my Graduation Ball. Yes, its not until July but I am considering my dresses now and feel obliged to share it here. Reluctantly ruling out the cracker of a dress worn by Ukraine's Eurovision contestant this year, I have moved on and realised that feather-clawed shoulders are not the direction I should be looking in.
Instead I have narrowed my hunt down to one of these three:
French Connection - Anna Lace Dress (£110)
This beaut comes in royal blue, red and turquoise. I absolutely love it but I am a bit worried it is not "ball" enough, being lace with its fairly high seam.
River Island - Gold Frill Shoulder Maxi (£69.99)
I adore this dress, and the length and colour make it seem much more ball appropriate, but given that it is a River Island Dress I worry that I'd roll up to the bash and see seven other girls in the same dress. Unlikely, but possible.

Jasmine Guinness - Marble Print Silk Maxi (£62)
This dress is a favourite because it has the maxi glamour but is not from a High Street hot spot... plus I have a £30 off voucher for Very, which makes it an appealing choice!
Decisions, decisions! I'll let you know what I eventually decide on.

Weekly Wishes
I am back again! If you are a regular visitor to my humble little blog (who ever you may be, Ithankyou) you might have thought I had forgotten it even exists. Evidently I have not, I have just been stuck somewhere between exams and a hard place. However, as the light at the end of the tunnel is getting slowly closer, I am crawling back to this happy little place for my words and pictures, with some words and pictures about the things I quite fancy this week in the form of my Weekly Wishes.
My demands are not high this week, for the time being I am living the life of a humble lass. So, to please me all I really want is this Accessorize "Flower crown hair bando", a title I will be replacing with "my summer daisy chain of joy." I am fairly certain that I could go out head-to-toe in black, pop this on and radiate summer. Something I will be trying out when it is snapped up and at £6, it sure will be!
My other little wish is Rimmel Pro Matte Top Coat. I heart doing my nails, so with this I can do them a wee bit differently without shelling out salon prices. Dreamy. I might go crazy and pop a photo up when I have acquired a pot and taken it for a test run. The fingers so proudly displayed here aren't my own, just here to give you an idea of the fun that can be had with the polish, its a bit velvety, no?
And finally, if you haven't already seen it, it is very important you check out the new Topshop Shanghai collection...and want it all. I might just make it my entire summer wardrobe this year. Shanghai and floral garlands, I can see no way it can fail.
I have the June Vogue sat beside me, with Alexa Chung looking up, begging to be blogged about, so that will happen this week. Promise.
Have a magnificent week,
F x

Weekly wishes
I realise that this is meant to be done on a Monday and this is only my second go at this Weekly Wishes malarkey but I have had computer and internet issues so its a tad late!
Here is what I have seen and want this week:
I am not usually that big a fan of New Look but this slightly retro feel, feather print bikini is gorgeous! I am currently planning a little trip to Thailand after the exam-mare ends so at just £14.99 for the top and £8.99 for the bottoms this will definitely be purchased for the trip!

The other thing that has caught my eye this week is this brilliant stack-of-books wallpaper from The Collection. When I get a real home to decorate this is going on my toilet wall for sure!

Weekly Wishes
Here is a new feature on the blog, my "Weekly Wishes." Simply because apparently I just cannot get enough of this blogging malarkey and I am meant to be studying for my finals so trawling the internet for things I want and publishing them on my blog seems much more fun than writing about literature in post revolutionary Mexico.
Every Monday I will pop up a few pictures, maybe even a few links if I am feeling particularly tech savvy that day, to the little bits and bobs that I am lusting after, things that would be able to brighten up my week if I lived in a dream world and they could be mine! It is important to point out that there is no way I can control my desires here so one week it might be a pair of £2,000 Alexander McQueen sandals or a £25 Topshop blouse the next, or I might juts go crazy and do both.
Here it goes...
The Marc Jacobs Henry Icon Watch, I have had my eye on this little number for a wee while, the little colourful icons in the face make what could be very standard watch a Marc Jacobs master piece! I also LOVE it in gold too, seeing as I am going through a slightly chav-tastic phase at the moment and loving gold jewellery but it seems to be sold out everywhere, so sad.

Secondly, I am very into peter pan collars at the moment and although I have already invested far too many of my loaned pounds into this little collar based craze, it is not stopping me from wanting this monochrome number from ASOS for £20. Tuck it into a pair of chinos and I'm off!
I am off to do an ASOS order!
Turrah,
F x
